Stakeholders’ Consultation Meeting (SCM)


The Stakeholders Consultation Meeting (SCM) for the 3rd Asia International Water Week (AIWW) is held as a side event during the 10th World Water Forum on May 22, 2024 in Bali, Indonesia. The meeting stands as a pivotal juncture in addressing water challenges across Asia and Worldwide.

Structured into three main segments: 1) Asia Water Issue, 2) Asia to World Statement, and 3) Water Project Business Forum & EXPO, this gathering fosters dialogues, recommendations, and collaborative research efforts. Stakeholders, comprising government representatives, organizations, enterprises, and water experts, converge to propose solutions to pressing water-related issues.

The outcomes of this meeting transcend mere the 3rd AIWW’s program development. They encompass the development of programs for the 3rd AIWW, integrating diverse perspectives and disseminating insights gleaned from the 10th World Water Forum. These outcomes contribute to advancing water security in Asia and globally and play a significant role in ensuring the successful organization of the 3rd AIWW and defining the agenda for the 11th World Water Forum.
